Hi,
I always considered Ed as family. His father... Ray Gorcyca's as well as my father were lifelong... best of friends, together growing up in the same hometown in NJ...
I played golf with Ed on the old Mt Lebanon CC when I was back there for our 50th High School reunion. The guy, just like his father could play!
It was also special (for me) that Ed brought his sister, Irene to the reunion.
Edward J. Malinoski, 71, died of cancer on Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
Ed served domestically and abroad with the US Navy from 1960 to 1964 and was employed by the US Federal Government from 1965 to 1991. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann; two sons, Joseph Edward and his wife, Tammy Fisher and Michael Keith and his wife, Gina Breen; and two sisters, Irene Helmich and her husband, William and Carol Ann Cross and her husband, Ward; as well as several nieces, nephews and granddaughters.
