A Winter View From the 1930’s

A winter view taken from the Canonsburg High School annex on a snowy day in the 1930s. Orville Potter, a student, aimed his camera through the windows of Room A, then Miss Margaret Dickson's room (later students knew her as Maggie Donaldson).

Later Augie Betham , one of the “best “teachers ever, would teach his “classic” math classes from this location.

The building in shadow on the right is the Home Economics Building.    Across North Central Avenue is Marshall Matthews' brick house and, above it, the Roberts House.
