Betty Jean DeLanie, 90, of Canonsburg, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born Sunday, May 12, 1918, in Washington, a daughter of Robert James and Jean R. Morrison Knox.
Surviving are two sons, Robert G. DeLanie of Canonsburg and David L. DeLanie of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Judith Ann Sunday of Canonsburg; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Deceased is her husband, Kenneth C. DeLanie, who died in February 1997.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 19, with the Rev. Dennis Johnson, pastor of Meadow Lands United Methodist Church, officiating.
